UCSF School Of Pharmacy Joins Hands With Safeway Inc. To Help People Stop Smoking



Safeway Inc. has formed association with The UCSF School of Pharmacy with a view to help their customers stop smoking. This association will bring customers of Safeway Inc. in touch with specialized pharmacists so that they can get to learn about quit smoking programs and other valuable resources.
 
As per the newly formed partnership between Safeway Inc. and The UCSF School of Pharmacy, the pharmacists of Safeway Inc. will avail training on verified quit smoking counselling techniques by utilizing a program made by the UCSF pharmacy faculty.
 
This association will help Safeway Inc. customers gain quit smoking advantage by accessing the patient-care knowledge of the UCSF School of Pharmacy.  

According to Joseph Guglielmo, Jr., PharmD, interim dean of the UCSF School of Pharmacy, this new project provides Safeway customers with the full patient-care skill set of pharmacists to assist them in preventing and managing their recurring medical conditions.
